PR 72 2021 PR Tory Discussion Meeting on PID

Upon the invitation of federal Shadow Minister for International Development of the Conservative Party Garnett Genuis (Sherwood Park-Fort Saskatchewan), Ambassador Rodolfo D. Robles joined him and his Conservative Party colleagues in a discussion on the state of bilateral relations between the Philippines and Canada. MP Genuis was accompanied by MP Michael Chong (Wellington-Halton Hill), Shadow Minister for Foreign Affairs; MP Marty Morantz (Winnipeg); and MP Kerry Diotte (Edmonton Griesbach). Ambassador Robles was accompanied by principal officials of the Philippine Embassy in Canada and the Philippine Consulate General in Toronto.

The virtual event was organized to commemorate the 123rd anniversary of the declaration of Philippine independence. Leaders from Filipino community organizations across Canada were invited to the discussion.
