21 August 2019 – Ambassador Petronila P. Garcia led an Embassy team on consular outreach missions to Charlottetown, Price Edward Island on 15 and 16 August, and Moncton, New Brunswick on 18 and 19 August 2019 to provide consular services to Filipinos in those cities and surrounding areas.

The Embassy consular team provided a total of 519 consular services in the two cities, made up of 412 passport applications, 69 consular notarizations and authentications, 9 NBI clearance applications, 14 Reports of Birth, 3 Reports of Marriage, and 12 applications for dual citizenship.

The Embassy team was also joined by representatives from Philippine Overseas Labor Office (POLO)-Toronto led by Labor Attaché Rachel Zozobrado-Nagayo who provided labor services such as verification of contracts and renewals of Overseas Workers Welfare Administration (OWWA) memberships. END
