NBI Director Dante Gieran and RCMP Director General Marie-Claude Arsenault sign the bilateral cooperation arrangement.

National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) Director Dante Gierran and Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) Director General Marie-Claude Arsenault signed a bilateral cooperation arrangement at the NBI Headquarters in Manila this morning. The agreement will formalize existing cooperation mechanism to stop child sex trafficking.

Director Gieran was joined by his senior management team at the event, while Director General Arsenault was accompanied by the RCMP Liaison Officer to the Philippines Mr. Jay Schooley.

The signing of the agreement was initiated by the Philippine Embassy in Ottawa headed by Ambassador Petronila P. Garcia.

Director Gieran and Director General Arsenault are joined by NBI Deputy Directors, Deputy Chief of Mission Francisco Noel Fernandez III from the Philippine Embassy in Ottawa (5L) and DFA Director for Canada Mary Luck Hicarte (5R).
