Eligible Filipinos in Canada who have not registered under the Voters Registration Act of 1996 (R.A. 8189) are enjoined to file their applications for registration/certification and transfer of registration records at the Philippine Embassy or other designated registration areas from 31 October 2011 to 31 October 2012.

Eligible Filipinos in Canada who have not registered under the Voters Registration Act of 1996 (R.A. 8189) are enjoined to file their applications for registration/certification and transfer of registration records at the Philippine Embassy in Ottawa or other designated registration areas from 31 October 2011 to 31 October 2012.

Under Republic Act 9189 or The Overseas Absentee Voting Act of 2003, all Filipino citizens abroad, not otherwise disqualified by law, at least 18 years of age on the day of election, and who are registered overseas absentee voters with approved application to vote in absentia may vote for Senators and Party-List Representatives in the 13 May 2013 elections.

The 30-day voting period will commence on 13 April 2013 until 3:00 p.m. (Philippine time) of 13 May 2013 at Philippine embassies and consulates.
