 Now on its 35th year, the Filipino Community in Montreal, Quebec recently celebrated the Feast of Señor Santo Niño de Cebu with a Mass at St. Kevin’s Church in Montreal and a Sinulog celebration participated in by various Filipino community organizations in Quebec. The occasion provided an opportunity for devotees of the Señor Santo Niño de Cebu to celebrate a Cebuano tradition. Approximately 200 participants joined the revelry despite a severe winter storm hitting the city. Deputy Chief of Mission Francisco Noel Fernandez III represented the Philippine Embassy in the celebration.
