Ambassador Garcia received Messrs. Siegfried Gagnon and Paul Troitter from the Ministry of Immigration, Diversity and Inclusion of the Province of Quebec, with DCM FN Fernandez and First Secretary Aquino.

Ambassador Petronila P. Garcia received a delegation from the Ministry of Immigration, Diversity, and Inclusion (MIDI) to discuss employment opportunities for Filipinos in Quebec, Canada’s French-speaking province.

A delegation from the Service d’accompagnement au recrutement international (SARI) or the International Recruitment Support Services of MIDI is expected to visit Manila in February to explore the potential of tapping the human resources of the Philippines in meeting manpower shortages currently experienced by business enterprises in Quebec under the province’s Temporary Foreign Workers Program.
