 The Philippine Embassy in Ottawa organized a workshop on the topic “Emotional and Social Intelligence for its personnel under its Professional Continuing Education Program (PCEP). The workshop, delivered by the Centre for Continuing Education of the University of Ottawa, imparted on the participants led by Ambassador Petronila P. Garcia the importance and role of emotional and social intelligence in the creation of a positive and fruitful work environment.

“Our people are our greatest assets and it is our obligation to provide them with opportunities for professional improvement like this workshop,” explained Ambassador Garcia in highlighting the importance of arranging staff training.
