30 October 2018, Ottawa – Philippine Ambassador to Canada Petronila Garcia and other officers and staff of the Embassy of the Philippines welcomed members of the Agriculture Biotechnology Mission to Canada at a dinner held at Tahanang Rizal (Rizal House), the Official Residence of the Ambassador of the Philippines in Ottawa on Tuesday, 30 October 2018.

The delegation was headed by Dr. Vivencio Mamaril of the Philippine Department of Agriculture (DA) Biotech Program Office and composed of representatives from the DA, Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR), Office of the Agricultural Attaché of the Embassy of the Philippines in the USA, and the Embassy of Canada in the Philippines. Joining them at the dinner were Mr. Rolf Schoenert of the Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) and Ms. Emily Silk from Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada (AAFC). END.
