25 August 2018, Ottawa – A team from the Embassy of Philippines in Canada visited the Montreal, Quebec, Filipino community to inform them of the Embassy’s upcoming cultural events and conduct a consular outreach mission from 25 to 26 August 2018 at the Ramada Hotel. Led by First Secretary and Consul Greg Marie Mariño, the team included Ms. Armi Santos, Mr. Noel Sancon, Ms. Teresa Benitez-Bragais, Ms. Aileen Cuya, and Mr. Alvin Conchas III.
Visitors were briefed on the upcoming Winter Escapade 6 – It’s More Fun in the Philippines (WE – IMFITPH 6) tour scheduled from January 28 to February 4, 2019. An annual tour led by the Embassy and Consulates General of the Philippines in Canada, the tour is set to bring snowbirds to Manila, Taal and Nasugbu, Batangas, and El Nido, Palawan at the height of Canada’s winter. Consul Mariño and Ms. Cuya briefed visitors on the tour and distributed information materials while the consular team processed passport, notarials, civil registry, dual citizenship, and overseas voting applications.
