In the event of a disruption or an interruption in postal service or unforeseeable delays from Canada Post as early as 6 July 2016, owing to a potential labour-related action within the organization, effective 4 July 2016, the Philippine Embassy will hold the mailing out of all items that would normally be sent using Canada Post until after the situation returns to normal.

All concerned are advised to prepare for the possibility of delays for any time-sensitive items and legal documents (e.g. passports, notarized documents) you may be expecting from, or are mailing to the Philippine Embassy via Canada Post by making alternative arrangements with other couriers.

Concerned parties having immediate need for their items/documents may contact the Embassy forthwith to arrange other means to obtain their respective passport or documents.
