Tasks:
- Assist in organizing meetings and activities of ACO, including coordinating with non-ASEAN partners, third-party service providers, handling administrative matters, preparing for events, and post-activity documentation, among others.
- Monitor Canadian domestic developments related to the Philippines, ASEAN, and the Indo-Pacific region.
- Assist in preparation for meetings with Canadian government and business partners, educational institutions, and non-government organizations, among others.
- Assist in the implementation of plans and programs related to the 75th anniversary of PH-CA bilateral relations.
- Perform research, prepare requested inputs, draft notes and reports, manage databases, and submit routinary reports on activities.
Knowledge and skill requirements:
- Familiarity with Philippine-Canada relations
- Can perform deep research and is resourceful in terms of finding the relevant information requested
- Can draft reports, press releases, and social media postings in a clear and concise manner
- Communicate effectively with Embassy partners, government and non-government interlocutors, and the greater public
- Know how to use Google Workspace, particularly Gmail, Calendar, Meet, Drive, Docs, Sheets, Slides, and Forms, and an intermediate-level familiarity on the use of Microsoft Excel
- Driven and has initiative, can work both independently and with a team
