The Embassy will resume providing in-person consular services by appointment beginning Monday, 25 May 2020 for the following services:

  • Passport application and renewal
  • Consularization of documents

All applicants, including senior citizens, minors, and persons with disabilities (PWDs), will be required to book their appointments on the following link: https://dfaincanada.com/otw/appointment

For civil registration, we encourage applicants to apply by mail. Please send the requirements to: Embassy of the Philippines, 30 Murray St., Ottawa Ontario, K1N 5M4, Canada. If a child is being applied for both a Report of Birth and a Philippine passport, kindly use the appointment link above.

For Dual Citizenship, applicants are encouraged to send the requirements beforehand, by ordinary mail, to: Embassy of the Philippines, 30 Murray St., Ottawa Ontario, K1N 5M4, Canada. To ensure the safety of clients and staff, the Embassy will process a limited number of applicants per day, and walk-in applicants will not be allowed. They will instead be asked to return when they have confirmed appointments.

The following guidelines will be observed by the Embassy:

  • Consular applicants are required to wear face masks inside the Embassy;
  • Consular applicants will undergo a health evaluation upon entry into the Embassy, composed of a temperature check. Those found to have a fever will be asked to return home to recuperate, and will be provided with a priority slot when they get well;
  • Because contactless payment for consular services is not available at this time, consular applicants are requested to prepare the exact amount in cash when paying for services;

As the current COVID-19 situation in Ontario improves, the Embassy will consider increasing the number of consular applicants per day, and will issue advisories as necessary.
