The Consulate General of the Philippines in Toronto has recently been made aware that there is an e-mail circulating among registered nurses in the Philippines inviting them to attend "coaching interviews" by Toronto-based hospitals (Shouldice Hospital, etc.) for potential employment by these institutions, for which the invitees have to pay a substantial fee.

The Consulate General wishes to warn the public that this is a scam, and that no such paid interviews is being conducted by the hospitals named in the e-mail. The Consulate General further advises recipients to be wary of such invitations, especially those that demand money from potential applicants.
