Mobile Consular Outreach in Bermuda, 14-15 December 2019

We are pleased to announce that a consular outreach in Bermuda will be conducted by the Philippine Embassy in Ottawa on the following dates:
Saturday, December 14, 2019 (9am to 6pm); and
Sunday, December 15, 2019 (9am to 6pm)
Venue: Hamilton Princess Hotel
Address: 76 Pitts Bay Road, HM08, Bermuda
A representative from OWWA based in the Philippine Embassy in Washington DC will also be joining the outreach in Bermuda.

For regular passport renewal, we will implement an online appointment system. It will begin accepting reservations on November 27 (Wednesday) at 12 noon (Ottawa time).

Persons with disabilities, senior citizens (persons 60 years old and above), pregnant women, and children below 7 years old do not need to book an appointment. Please note that processing will be on a first-come, first-served basis.
Applicants who will choose to wait for the next outreach in Bermuda in order to claim their new passports do not have to prepare a prepaid international courier envelope at the outreach. The Philippine Embassy expects to return to Bermuda in the first quarter of 2020.

- NBI clearance fingerprinting. Please bring one colored ID photo (sized 2” x 2”), photocopy of your valid passport, and payment of CAD 36.25 in cash.

The Philippine Embassy in Ottawa hosted a luncheon attended by deputy heads of missions from Asia-Pacific resident diplomatic missions in Ottawa, together with Global Affairs Canada Executive Director James Christoff and Macdonald-Laurier Institute’s Deputy Director Jonathan Miller. The discussion revolved around Canada’s perspectives on the Indo-Pacific as presented by Miller.
