The Philippine Embassy is pleased to announce that the processed passports of applicants to our December, 2019 consular outreach mission in Hamilton, Bermuda will be released on the following date and venue:
Venue : Trudeau Room, Hamilton Princess Hotel
Time : 9:00AM to 12:00PM
Remarks : Passport will be released only to applicants or their duly authorized representatives bearing their authorization letter.
The following consular services will likewise be made available on the same day, with the requirements indicated below, namely:
1. Regular passport renewal (1:00PM to 5:00PM)
- We will implement an online appointment system which will begin accepting reservations on Sunday, 16 February 2020 at 10:00AM (Ottawa time). Please use the following link to book an appointment:

- Persons with disabilities, senior citizens(applicants aged 60 and above), pregnant women, and children below 7 years old, along with their immediate family members/caregivers, do not need to book an appointment. Passport processing for these applicants will be on a first-come, first-served basis.
- All applicants for passport renewal need to bring the following:
- Accomplished passport application form
- Their current Philippine passport
- Photocopy of the passport's data page (page showing photo and personal details)
- Photocopy of Bermudian visa or work permit
- Payment of passport renewal fee: US$60 in cash
- Prepaid self-addressed international courier envelope or air waybill. This will be used to send the new passport from Ottawa to the applicant in Bermuda.
For the following services, no appointment is necessary. Please note that since it will be on a first-come first served basis, queues may form depending on the number of applicants.
2. Notarial service (9:00AM to 12:00PM)
- Personal appearance of all signatories is required
- Notarial fee of US$25 per document payable in cash only
- One original and 1 photocopy of the document
- Photocopy of a government-issued identification card bearing the photograph of the signing party
- Notarized documents shall be released between 4:30PM to 5:00PM on the same day, if not earlier.
NB: Documents already apostilled by the Bermudian Government are no longer required to be notarized or authenticated by the Philippine Embassy as these may be used directly in the Philippines under the Apostille Convention.
3. NBI Clearance Fingerprinting
- One colored 2"x2" photograph with white background
- Photocopy of valid passport
- Payment of US$25 in cash only
4. Retention or Reacquisition of Philippine Citizenship

5. Overseas Absentee Voting Registration in preparation for the May 2022 National and Local Elections. The following may qualify as an Overseas Absentee Voter:
- Filipino Citizens who are at least 18 years of age on 09 May 2022;
- Those who have re-acquired or retained their Philippine citizenship under R.A. 9225 and other Filipino citizens with dual citizenship;
- Registered voters who have not voted for two consecutive elections;
- Registered voters who transfer residences falling under the jurisdiction of another Philippine Embassy or Consulate;
- Registered voters who transfer residences from one country to another; and
- Registered voter whose registration have been de-activated.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Duly accomplished and signed Application form;
- Photocopy of the data page of valid Philippine Passport;
- Marriage Contract for female applicants who wish to change status from single to married;
- Death Certificate of the husband of female applicants who wish to change status and revert to her maiden name; and
- Photocopies of Oath of Allegiance, Identification Certificate and Order of Approval of applicants who are dual citizens of Bermuda and the Philippines.

SEASON 4 OF FILCAN TALENT CONTEST HELD IN MONTREAL

Aspiring Filipino-Canadian artists from Ottawa, Gatineau, and Montreal showcased their individual talents during the Season 4 competition of the “Nationwide Search for Filipino-Canadian Talent.” The competition was organized by the Filipino Canadian Artist Association of Quebec (FCAAQ) and held at the Salle la Découverte in the borough of Cote-des-Neiges-Notre-Dame-de-Grace of Montreal, the cradle of the Filipino diaspora in the province of Quebec.

Persons with disabilities, senior citizens (persons 60 years old and above), pregnant women, and children below 7 years old do not need to book an appointment. A special lane will be provided and they will be processed on a first-come, first-served basis.
In case all the slots have been taken, you may visit the Embassy in Ottawa, where walk-in applications are allowed, during weekdays, from 9am to 5pm.
You may also visit the Embassy during our once-a-month Saturday services, which are announced on our website and Facebook page about one week before the scheduled date. The next Saturday service is tentatively scheduled for March 7, 2020.
