PHILIPPINE NATIONAL ELECTIONS 2025

Registered Filipino overseas voters (in Posts/Countries adopting online voting) may vote online in the May 12, 2025 elections.

To participate, you must be pre-enrolled as an online voter. Pre-enrolment for online voting via the COMELEC Voting Portal is from March 10 to May 7, 2025.

The 30-day overseas voting period is from 13 April 2025 until 12 May 2025, at 7:00PM Philippine Standard Time.

The Government of the Philippines and the Filipino people congratulate the Government of Canada and the Canadian people on the 153^rd anniversary of Canada’s confederation.

Close to one million Filipinos now call Canada their home. They have been welcomed across Canada’s vast expanse, from the Pacific coast of British Columbia to the Atlantic coast of Nova Scotia, and into the Arctic region of Nunavut. They continue to fortify the bonds of friendship between the Philippines and Canada.

The Philippines expresses its solidarity with Canada and its people, and looks forward to further deepening its cooperation with Canada, as both countries work together towards addressing global challenges and realizing their shared goals of greater peace and stability for their peoples. END

The Embassy’s consular section in Ottawa will be open on the following date for our monthly Saturday consular service:

Saturday, 04 July, 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM

We will provide the following services:

Passport application and renewal
Consular notarization/authentication of documents
Civil registration (Report of Marriage/Birth)
NBI Form No. 5 fingerprinting and consular notarization
Reacquisition of Filipino citizenship (dual citizenship)

Please note that due to existing COVID-19 restrictions in Ontario on the allowable number of assembled persons in enclosed spaces, walk-in clients cannot be accommodated.
