15 August 2017, Ottawa – Ambassador Petronila Garcia hosted a farewell luncheon in honor of Mongolian Ambassador Radnaabazar Altangerel today at the Mindanao Hall of the Philippine Embassy.  Heads of mission from the Asia Pacific countries and other senior officials were present at the luncheon.

Ambassador Altangerel will be passing on to Ambassador Garcia the Deanship of the Asia Pacific Group of Ambassadors when he completes his tour of duty at the end of August.

The Asia Pacific Group of Ambassadors is composed of the heads of missions from the following countries: (1) Mongolia; (2) the Philippines; (3) Brunei Darussalam; (4) Indonesia; (5) Australia; (6) Nepal; (7) Thailand; (8) Japan; (9) Sri Lanka; (10) Pakistan; (11) Malaysia; (12) New Zealand; (13) Bangladesh; (14) Myanmar; (15) Afghanistan; (16) Viet Nam; (17) India; (18) People’s Republic of China; and (19) Republic of Korea.
