PR-34-2025

27 March 2025, Ottawa – The Philippine Embassy and Consulates General in Canada and COMELEC’s Office for Overseas Voting (COMELEC OFOV) conducted a webinar on how overseas Filipinos can participate in the 2025 Philippine National Elections.  This will be the first time that Filipinos in Canada can cast their vote through an online platform – a departure from the previous postal voting modality – aimed to make overseas voting secure, faster, more accessible, and convenient.

Only registered overseas Filipino voters  can participate in the 2025 elections. In order to vote, registered voters will need to verify their identity and status of registration by enrolling into the Overseas Voting and Counting System (OVCS) starting 20 March 2025 to 07 May 2025. Once enrolled, said registered OVF can cast their votes using any browsers in their own internet-capable device from 13 April 2025 to 12 May 2025, 7:00PM (Philippine time).

Step 1 | Check if registered OV: Ottawa PE | Vancouver PCG | Toronto PCG | Calgary PCG
