PR 77 cap Philippine Embassy in Ottawa Approves First Group of New Overseas Voters

The Resident Election Registration Board (RERB) of the Philippine Embassy convened its first meeting yesterday in Ottawa to process the first group of overseas voters who registered from 16 December 2019 to 30 June 2020. After a thorough evaluation of the applications and supporting documents, the Board approved the registration of 191 new voters, the reactivation of 4 voters whose registration became dormant, and the transfer or correction of data of 71 other overseas voters.

Filipino citizens residing in Canada are encouraged to register for the 2022 National Elections by visiting the Philippine Embassy in Ottawa or the Philippine Consulates General in Vancouver, Calgary, or Toronto.
