The Philippine Embassy in Ottawa joins the observance of the Autism Consiousness Week being held every third week of January of each year, pursuant to Proclamation No. 711, series of 1996.
Filipino Restaurant in Ottawa Among Best in the City

A cozy Filipino-themed Café and restaurant situated in the historic and elite Glebe neighborhood of Ottawa has been selected as among the best bites in the Canadian capital of the year. Tamis Café, is a family business affair run by Lito and Liza Sare, with their daughters Jessica and Jiselle.
In his year-end depiction of the Ottawa restaurant dining scene for the end of the year 2016, noted food critic Peter Hum featured Tamis Café in the Ottawa Citizen newspaper of the capital city of Canada.
Tamis Café, according to Mr. Hum, is among the “more humble but worthy mom-and-pop joints,” which joins the ranks of ambitious and distinctive eateries that set themselves apart from other dining establishments in Ottawa.

Those with immediate travel plans are advised to wait until their passports are released before confirming their flights.

On behalf of the Commision on Elections (COMELEC), the Philippine Embassy in Ottawa is pleased to announce that overseas voters who filed their application for registration in 2015 at the Embassy and whose names appear in the list may now claim their respective Voter IDs either personally or through their duly authorized representative(s).
Similarly, all concerned individuals having inquiries and/or difficulties in accessing the said list may contact the Consular Section of the Philippine Embassy in Ottawa through telephone number +1.613.233.1121. The Embassy is open to the public from 9:00AM to 5:00PM, Monday to Friday, except Saturdays, Sundays, and legal holidays.
