The Special Board of Canvassers (SBOC) in Ottawa adjourned at 10:20 a.m. after the successful transmission of election results to the COMELEC central server at 9:38 a.m. today.

Voter Turnout

A total of22,738 out of 79,421 registered voters in 81 precincts participated in the 2016 national elections for a voter turn out of 28.62%.  The Philippine Embassy in Ottawa and Consulates General in Toronto and Vancouver and Vancouver) saw huge increases in voter turn-out relative to the 2013 elections at around 500%, 600% and 700%, respectively.
